Coming up here in a couple weeks, Kilgore Books & Comics will be celebrating it’s two-year anniversary, and we could be happier to be throwing ‘kil GOREFEST II’, a celebration of our store’s long journey down Luke and Dan’s mental birth canal.
We’re going to be hosting the celebration on June 12, from 1 until about 7. We’re working to line up some bands, and we’ll have some food and champagne and such for folks, but mostly we’re excited to host a cartoonist extravaganza – the centerpiece of which is Kilgore’s release of Noah Van Sciver’s Blammo #6.
Yep, that’s right, we’re getting into publishing! Woo hoo! It’s his biggest (32-pages) work yet, and quite potentially his best — and at $3.95, a real bargain. Noah will be hanging out, as will our dear friends John Porcellino & John Bueno.
So come on by, say howdy, have some booze and pick up the new Blammo!
